Help Centre
How can we help?
Quick answers about buying, selling and delivery on Retaged.
How does Buyer Protection work?
Your payment is held safely until you confirm the item arrived as described. If it didn't, report it from your order within 2 days of delivery and we'll help, including a full refund where it applies.
Buyer Protection →What does it cost to buy?
The item price, postage, and a Buyer Protection fee of £0.80 + 6% of the item price (never more than £25.00). You see the full total before you pay.
Fees →Can I ask the seller questions before I buy?
Yes. Tap "Message seller" on the listing to ask about fabric, fit, measurements or anything else. Keep all chat and payments on Retaged so you stay protected.
How do I pay?
By card at Retaged checkout. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, and Retaged never sees your full card details. Never pay a seller by bank transfer, PayPal or cash: those payments aren't protected.
What does "Reserved" mean on a listing?
Someone is paying for it right now. The item is held for them for up to 30 minutes. If they don't finish paying, it goes back on sale automatically.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, until the seller posts it: open the order and tap "Ask to cancel". If the seller agrees, you get a full refund straight away. Once it's posted, it can't be cancelled.
Returns & refunds →Can I return an item if it doesn't fit?
Most sellers on Retaged are private people, so there's no automatic right to return an item because you changed your mind or it doesn't fit. Check the size and measurements, and ask the seller before you buy.
Returns & refunds →Report something
- › An item: “Report this listing” on its page
- › A member: “Report member” on their profile
- › An order: “There's a problem” on the order
