Fees

Listing and selling on Retaged are free. Buyers pay a small Buyer Protection fee and postage, and see the full total before they pay.
For sellers
- Listing an item: free.
- Selling an item: free. You receive the full item price.
- Postage: paid by the buyer. You print the prepaid label from your order.
- Payouts: free. Stripe sends your money to your bank once the order is complete.
For buyers
Each order has a Buyer Protection fee of £0.80 plus 6% of the item price, up to a maximum of £25.00. It pays for secure payment, holding your money until the order is complete, and our help if something goes wrong. You also pay postage, shown at checkout.
Some examples:
- £10.00 item: Buyer Protection £1.40, plus postage.
- £40.00 item: Buyer Protection £3.20, plus postage.
- £150.00 item: Buyer Protection £9.80, plus postage.
- £600.00 item: Buyer Protection £25.00, plus postage.
If an order is refunded
The Buyer Protection fee is refunded too.
Changes to fees
We'll give at least 14 days' notice on the site before changing any fee. Changes never affect orders already paid for.
