Prohibited items

• Counterfeit, replica or "inspired by" branded goods, or anything that infringes someone's copyright, trade marks or designs (see Counterfeit & copyright below).
• Items described as gold, silver or platinum that don't meet UK hallmarking law. If you're not sure an item is precious metal, describe it as "gold-tone" or "silver-tone".
• Stolen goods, or items that aren't yours to sell or aren't in your possession.
• Used underwear, used swimwear without its hygiene liner, and other unhygienic items.
• Real fur, ivory, coral, shells or other parts of protected animals, unless legally and verifiably sourced.
• Weapons (including knives and decorative daggers), drugs and drug paraphernalia, alcohol, tobacco and vapes, medicines, and cosmetics or skincare that have been opened.
• Recalled or unsafe products, including children's clothing or nightwear that doesn't meet UK safety rules.
• Adult content, and items promoting hatred, violence or discrimination.
• Anything that isn't clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery or accessories, such as electronics, furniture, vehicles, digital goods and services.

• Counterfeit, replica, "first copy", "master copy" or "inspired by" versions of branded or designer pieces, including desi designer labels.
• Using a brand or designer's name to describe an item that isn't theirs, for example "Sabyasachi style" in the title.
• Photos copied from brands, shops or other sellers. Use your own photos of the actual item.
• Fake or altered labels, tags, dust bags or certificates.

Unbranded and boutique-made pieces are welcome. Just describe them honestly, for example "boutique-made lehenga".

For designer pieces, show the label and any tags, and keep the receipt or order confirmation if you have it. We may ask for proof and hide the listing until we get it.

Retaged doesn't inspect or authenticate items, and doesn't guarantee that any item is genuine. Sellers are responsible for what they list.

If a listing infringes your trade mark, design or copyright, use "Report this listing" on its page, or email us at retaged2026@gmail.com with the link to the listing, what is being infringed, and your contact details. We'll review it promptly and remove listings that infringe.

Counterfeit listings are removed. If we find an item a buyer received is counterfeit, the buyer is refunded under Buyer Protection and the seller isn't paid. Repeated or serious breaches lead to suspension or closure of the account.
